About the Role

This is a full-time role with a Minnesota-based search marketing agency. We’re looking for a candidate with a passion for digital marketing to join a young, fast-growing company. In this role, you’ll develop into a highly-capable SEO expert as you work alongside our talented and experienced team of search marketers.

The chosen candidate will be a curious self-starter who is motivated by driving results for our clients. This role encourages (or more accurately, requires) entrepreneurial enthusiasm, as the chosen candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and direction of Uproer as a business.

Responsibilities

• Strategy Development
  • Aid in the development of outcome-driven SEO strategies
    • Support the creation of tactical roadmaps that prioritize SEO opportunities given each client’s goals & unique marketing situation (industry, competition, resources, etc.)
• SEO Analysis & Execution
  • Manage the prioritization and execution of SEO tasks, including but not
    limited to:
    • Keyword research & competitor analysis
    • Content auditing & outlining
    • Technical, on-page, and off-page auditing & optimization
    • Measurement & reporting
  • Use our suite of digital tools to uncover insights to guide our strategy and share with clients
  • Create reporting that communicates results and surfaces new insights and recommendations
• Account Management
  • Assist with account management duties like organizing meeting agendas, providing clients with updates, and attending meetings
  • Maintain an organizational system that ensures your responsibilities are completed on time & to expectations

  • Develop yourself continuously
    • Practice continuous self-improvement by welcoming feedback and taking responsibility for your personal growth
    • Stay informed of industry developments, particularly in the realm of ecommerce and SaaS, to keep you and your team on the leading edge of SEO

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Curious, data-driven, creative. If your brain just lit up going “That’s me!”, it might be a good fit
• Organized + reliable. We need someone who shows up, sticks to deadlines, and loves a good spreadsheet
• Proactive self-starter. We will give you the freedom to research unique solutions and suggest new ideas, and we’ll talk through them together
• Exceptional communication skills. Oral, written, presentation: you name it, we want it
• Internship or entry-level experience in which you’ve been introduced to the basics of SEO and content marketing is strongly preferred

Compensation

• Salary: $50k-$57k
  • Negotiable based on experience
• Up to 10% annual bonus based on performance goals
