Uproer was founded in May 2017 on the belief that there’s a middle market of clients who can greatly benefit from tapping into search marketing experts with “big agency” experience without the big agency rates. Our brief, yet sustained, success is proving that hypothesis to be true.
Since then, Uproer has grown from being one person’s moonlighting gig to a team of more than a dozen ambitious search marketers. As our team has expanded beyond the Twin Cities, so too has our client base. Our Zoom calls connect us to New York, San Francisco, Austin and across the globe to Australia and Japan.

Griffin discovered SEO in 2012 during a self-taught web development course and hasn’t looked back. After years of working as an SEO consultant to some of the country’s largest retail and tech brands, Griffin pursued his entrepreneurial calling of starting an agency in May of 2017.
Outside of work, Griffin enjoys going to concerts and spending time with his wife, two kids, and four pets.
Griffin’s DiSC style is D. He’s driven to set and achieve goals quickly, which helps explain why he’s built his career in the fast-paced agency business. Griffin’s most valuable contributions to the workplace include his motivation to make progress, his tendency towards bold action, and his willingness to challenge assumptions.
Dave made an accidental foray into digital marketing after graduating from the University of Minnesota Duluth and hasn’t looked back. Having spent the first part of his marketing journey brand-side, he now works with the Uproer team to help clients realize their goals through the lens of search.
When not at work, you’ll find Dave staying active and living a healthy lifestyle, listening to podcasts, and enjoying live music. A Minnesotan born and raised, his favorite sport is hockey and he still finds time to skate once in a while.
Dave’s DiSC style is C. He enjoys getting things done deliberately and systematically without sacrificing speed and efficiency. When it comes to evaluating new ideas and plans, he prefers to take a logical approach, always sprinkling on a bit of healthy skepticism for good measure. At work, Dave’s happiest when he has a chance to dive deep into a single project for hours at a time. He loves contributing to Uproer and being a part of a supportive team but is most productive when working solo.
Tatiana was exposed to search marketing in college and quickly became interested in Paid Search. Uproer caught her interest as an agency that gives each client the same priority and creativity needed to develop a cohesive strategy.
When she’s not wearing her marketing hat, Tatiana loves to spend as much time as she can outside. In the winter, she enjoys walking, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and reading as much as possible.
Tatiana’s DiSC style is CD. Her approach to life and work boils down to a good balance of logical, rational problem-solving, honesty, and skepticism. She’s not afraid to take on a challenge or challenge the status quo. Especially if it means generating better results and improving efficiencies. While she loves to take deep dives into projects alone, she is energized by working with and supporting others however she can.
Adam found his way into SEO in 2014 and quickly developed a passion for helping businesses grow through smart, grounded marketing strategies. Over the years, he’s worked with both scrappy startups and national brands—B2B and B2C alike—building data-driven programs that connect SEO and paid media efforts to real business outcomes.
A numbers-first marketer, Adam thrives in spreadsheets and sweats the details. Dependable, thorough, and clear in his communication, he takes pride in developing strategies that balance creativity with measurable impact. His key strengths include SEO, ecommerce strategy, and paid media—but he’s also known for showing up, asking the right questions, and getting things done.
Outside of work, Adam enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, skiing in the winter, biking in the summer, and making the most of weekends on the St. Croix River.
Andy got his start in marketing after a pivot in college. Deciding music was better as a hobby instead of a profession, he wanted to find a career that blends creativity with analysis.SEO caught his eye as a profession that lets him geek out with spreadsheets but also allows creative problem solving. He hasn’t looked back since.
When not at work, Andy enjoys cooking the latest recipe he can find while listening to a record. If not in the kitchen you can find him with his wife and daughter embarking on whatever day trip they can find.
Tyler got his start in SEO in 2015 and has been serving clients in the agency world ever since. A Minnesota native and Bethel University grad, he brings deep expertise to Uproer’s SEO team, helping clients achieve results and push the boundaries of what’s possible in search.
Outside of work, Tyler enjoys time with his family, playing volleyball, listening to podcasts, staying active in his home gym, and is a life-long Minnesota sports fan.
As an Enneagram 9 with a 1 wing, Tyler brings a thoughtful, steady, and balanced approach to his work, while striving to deliver excellence to every project. He thrives when collaborating with others, and will always pose purposeful questions.
Eric got his paid search start at a local agency, transitioned to large scale enterprise and is happy to be back at a small but mighty local agency with Uproer. Paid Search fits perfectly with his desire to balance both problem solving and working with people face to face.
Outside of work Eric is a card carrying MSP film Society member, Saint Paul Saints season ticket holder, and loves biking all around the twin cities.
Eric's preferred work day is deep dive in the morning and meetings in the afternoon. Getting into the nitty gritty of the "why" and being able to tell a story behind the data to clients is what gets him out of bed every morning. He values collaboration and honesty with his clients and co-workers.
Abby got her start in marketing in 2021 and is passionate about creating content that connects and drives results. She joined the Uproer's SEO team in May of 2024 and continues to turn ideas into meaningful impacts.
Outside of work, Abby enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family, friends.
Lauren is a 2024 graduate of the Carlson School of Management within the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, where she received both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Marketing.
When not at work, Lauren enjoys reading, going on walks with her dog, and trying new restaurants with family and friends.
Kaylee is a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Stout where she developed a strong foundation in digital marketing. After gaining valuable experience in search marketing through a hands-on internship with a leading company, she joined Uproer in 2024 as a Paid Search Analyst.
